Friends of Pug Welfare and rescue (cont'd..)

It is not expected that you will be an ‘expert’ in any care/hospitality/sickness skills, you will be guided as to the extent of what may be required of you. In all cases we expect a loving kindness to a little pug in distress, and this will be the only requirement of you on a personal basis, plus the willingness to make your home/car/travel method available should the need arise, and to communicate with the Friends network.

It may be that a year will go by and you may not be called upon for any ‘duty’; on the other hand if you live in an area where there are many pugs to be rescued, you may be called upon more frequently. The Association will do all that is possible to ensure that no one person is called upon frequently. The more Friends we have, the more the rescue work can be shared.

Once you become a Friend of The PDWRA, you will receive an Information and Guidance pack. The PDWRA cannot be held responsible for any accidents, damage or otherwise suffered by any Friend or their property, in carrying out these helper duties on behalf of the Association.
